New BlackArch Linux ISO Lands with Over 1,500 Penetration Testing, Hacking Tools

The skilful team of developers and security professional behind the BlackArch Linux operating system have announced today, August 19, 2016, the general availability of a new ISO image.

It’s been more than three months since the release of the previous BlackArch Linux ISO image, and the development team managed to add more than 100 new tools you can use for penetration testing and ethical hacking work.

BlackArch is based on the famous, lightweight and highly customizable Arch Linux operating system, so the new ISO also contains all the security and software updates released since the May announcement of the previous ISO image.

Therefore, BlackArch team is proud to announce that they now have more than 1,500 tools available in the latest ISO image released today, along with updates to the BlackArch Linux installer, all the in-house built tools and system packages.
