SolydXK Linux OS Gets First ISO Respins for 2017, Raspberry Pi Build Also Out

The developers of the SolydXK (SolydX with the Xfce desktop environment and SolydK with the KDE desktop) GNU/Linux distribution are announcing the immediate availability of new ISO respins.

SolydXK 201701 are the first ISO respin images of the Linux-based operating system for the new year, bringing up-to-date packages and fixing a whole lot of bugs that have been discovered since the previous releases. In fact, it looks like it has been more than six months since the last SolydXK ISO respin was published.

“The ISOs are fully updated, and numerous bugs were resolved. These editions do deserve their naming: they are incredibly solid,” said the developer in today’s announcement. “The localized Dutch version is available for download as are the 32-bit community editions. The other community editions and localized editions will follow later.”
