4MParted 22.0 Disk Partitioning Live CD Enters Beta Based on GParted 0.28.1

4MLinux developer and founder Zbigniew Konojacki‏ is informing Softpedia today about the release and immediate availability for download of the Beta version of the upcoming 4MParted 22.0 open-source disk partitioning live OS.

4MParted is a freely distributed live system that users can deploy on a USB flash drive or CD/DVD disc and use it independently of the operating system installed on a personal computer to manipulate partitions. The Beta release of the upcoming 4MParted 22.0 version is based on 4MLinux 22.0 and GParted 0.28.1.

“4MParted is a very small live CD designed for disk partitioning. It’s a part of 4MRescueKit, which in turn is one of the three main 4MLinux releases available for download,” said Zbigniew Konojacki‏ in the brief release announcement. “This version includes GParted 0.28.1 and it uses 4MLinux 22.0 as the base system.”
