Red Hat's Software Collections 2.3 and Developer Toolset 6 Suites Enter Beta

Today, October 20, 2016, Red Hat had the pleasure of announcing the release and immediate availability of the Beta builds of its upcoming Software Collections 2.3 and Developer Toolset 6 collections of tools for developers.

Red Hat Software Collections 2.3 Beta includes many updated components, starting with the latest MySQL 5.7 and Redis 3.2 open source databases, as well as Perl 5.24, Python 3.5, Ruby 2.3 and PHP 7.0 open source languages, and continuing with Git 2.9, Thermostat 1.6, and the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) monitoring tool. Additionally, the collection ships with Mongo 3.2 and Eclipse Neon 4.6.1.
