Linux Kernel 4.1.27 LTS Is a Small Update with Nouveau and PowerPC Improvements

Linux kernel developer Sasha Levin today, June 23, 2016, announced the release of the twenty-seventh maintenance release of the long-term supported Linux 4.1 kernel series, along with Linux kernel 3.18.36 LTS.

Linux kernel 4.1.27 LTS comes only three weeks from the release of the twenty-sixth maintenance build, which means that it is a pretty small update that, according to the appended shortlog, it changes a total of 37 files, with 288 insertions and 125 deletions. Looking closer at the diff from Linux kernel 4.1.26 LTS, we can notice that it includes only some updated drivers and a few other improvements.
