Linux Kernel 3.18.37 LTS Updates the Networking & Sound Stacks, Adds MIPS Fixes

Immediately after he pushed the Linux 4.1.28 kernel update to the stable channels, Sasha Levin announced the general availability of the thirty-seventh maintenance release for the Linux 3.18 LTS kernel series.

Linux kernel 3.18.37 LTS arrives approximately three weeks after the debut of Linux kernel 3.18.36 LTS, changing a total of 276 files, with 2,687 insertions and 1,795 deletions, improving support for several widely used hardware architectures. Among them are SPARC, ARM64 (AArch64), ARM, MIPS, ARC, PowerPC (PPC), s390, and x86, but also fixing issues for the XFS, Btrfs, CIFS, NFS, EXT4, NILFS2, and UBIFS filesystems.
