KDE Applications 16.12.3 Is the Last in the Series, 17.04 Launches on April 20

KDE released today, March 9, 2017, the third and last scheduled maintenance update for the KDE Applications 16.12 software suite designed for users of the KDE Plasma 5 desktop environment on various GNU/Linux distributions.

That’s right, we’re talking about KDE Applications 16.12.3, which comes exactly one month after the release of KDE Applications 16.12.2 to address more than 20 bugs reported by users across various components, including the Kdenlive video editor, Okular document viewer, Kate text editor, Ark archive manager, etc.

“This release contains only bugfixes and translation updates, providing a safe and pleasant update for everyone,” reads today’s announcement. “More than 20 recorded bugfixes include improvements to KDE PIM, Ark, Filelight, Gwenview, Kate, Kdenlive, Okular, among others.”
