Cinnamon 3.2 Desktop Gets Its First Point Release, Adds Keyboard Applet Fixes

Yesterday, we reported the release of the Cinnamon 3.2 desktop environment for the upcoming Linux Mint 18.1 “Serena” GNU/Linux distribution, and it looks like the first point release is already available.

That’s right, Cinnamon 3.2.1 was released today, November 8, 2016, bringing much-needed fixes and improvements that are vital to have reliable and stable desktop experience before Cinnamon 3.2 is ready to conquer your Linux Mint installations, or any other distro that includes Cinnamon on its software repositories, such as Arch Linux.

The first Cinnamon 3.2 point release includes fixes from Michael Webster, Niko Krause, and Clement Lefebvre. Among these, we can mention better positioning of the flag render for the keyboard applet, along with proper scaling of the flag’s size to match both the preferences and panel.
