4MLinux 18.0 Distro Released with Support for LibreOffice 5.2, Thunderbird 45.1

4MLinux developer Zbigniew Konojacki has just informed Softpedia today, July 1, 2016, about the immediate availability for download of the final release of the 4MLinux 18.0 operating system.

4MLinux 18.0 has been in development for the past two months, during which time the developer has released a single Beta build to public testers, but he has also managed to introduce new versions based on 4MLinux 18.0 for all the other flavors under the 4MLinux umbrella.

Powered by Linux kernel 4.4.8 LTS, 4MLinux 18.0 has been declared stable and ready to become your daily driver. It comes with a lot of goodies for fans of the open source ecosystem, among which we can mention support for installing the LibreOffice 5.2 office suite and GIMP 2.8.16 image editor.
