Cinnamon 3.0.6 Desktop Environment Brings Fixes for the Network Applet, Recorder

Today, June 23, 2016, the leader of the Linux Mint project, Clement Lefebvre, has had the great pleasure of announcing the release and general availability of the Cinnamon 3.0.6 desktop environment.

Cinnamon 3.0.6 is the sixth maintenance release in the stable Cinnamon 3.0 series of the acclaimed desktop environment used by default on the Linux Mint operating system, but also available for numerous other popular GNU/Linux distributions, including Ubuntu, Arch Linux, Fedora, Debian, and others.

According to the internal changelog, attached at the end of the article for reference, Cinnamon 3.0.6 brings many improvements. Among the most important ones, we can mention the addition of a generic Bluetooth icon in the control panel, as well as the inversion of the motion-threshold setting widget in the Touchpad panel.
