The development team behind the Debian-based Tails amnesic incognito live system announced the release of the Tails 2.9.1 anonymous Live CD, which ships with the latest Tor technologies.
Still based on the Debian Stable repositories, namely on Debian GNU/Linux 8.6 “Jessie,” Tails 2.9.1 is the first maintenance update to the 2.9 stable series, bringing updates for most of the pre-installed components, such as Tor 0.2.8.10 anonymous network client/server implementation and Tor Browser 6.0.8 anonymous web browser.
