Robolinux 8.5 LTS Ships with a Free Installer, Stealth VMs for Running Windows

Robolinux developers are announcing today, June 17, 2016, that the Robolinux 8.5 LTS “Raptor” operating system is now available for download based on the latest Debian GNU/Linux repositories.

But before we tell you what’s new in the Robolinux 8.5 LTS release, the developer has a big announcement to make. “All 16 Robolinux 7 & 8 Live versions now come with a free OS installer and can be downloaded, for free, on SourceForge. Please permit me to say it again “There is no more charge for our OS installer” which was how we funded 3rd party Linux application developers.”

So there you have, you can finally install the Robolinux operating system on your disk drive without being charged. The latest release, Robolinux 8.5 LTS is part of the “Raptor” series and ships with multiple editions based on various desktop environments, including Cinnamon, MATE, Xfce, and LXDE. Both 64-bit and 32-bit ISOs are available for these editions.
