Frugalware 2.1 "Derowd" Linux Distro Arrives with GNOME 3.20.2, Kernel 4.7.2

Believe it or not, the Frugalware Linux distribution is still around, and while it was never all that popular among newcomers, some of us hardcore geeks still want to enjoy a well-done operating system on our personal computers.

And today, September 5, 2016, we’re happy to inform our readers about the immediate availability of Frugalware 2.1 “Derowd”, the latest and most advanced version of the independent GNU/Linux distro that always promoted the newest release of the GNOME desktop environment.

Those who used Frugalware Linux in the past might remember the fact that distro had a rolling and stable variants, just like openSUSE Linux is doing with Tumbleweed and Leap, but due to the fact that Frugalware is not so popular, and because there aren’t so many developers behind it, it’s now only a rolling operating system.
