Entroware Launches Ubuntu-Powered Kratos Laptop with Nvidia GTX 1050, Kaby Lake

The embargo just expired, so we can now share with you the details of a new Ubuntu-powered laptop from Entroware, which appears to have been designed specifically for gamers.

Kratos-3000 is the name, and according to the UK-based hardware manufacturer, it represents a new revision to their old Kratos laptop that’s no longer available for purchase on the website. The new model is shipping with all the latest technologies, starting with Intel’s 7th-gen Kaby Lake processors and continuing with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card.

“The new Entroware Kratos is powered by Intel’s latest generation of processors, ensuring maximum performance for on a cutting edge Linux platform,” reads the press announcement. “Kratos comes with the Nvidia GTX 1050 as standard, meaning raw graphics power on tap for games, rendering, 3D modeling and GPU optimized data processing.”
