elementary co-founder Cassidy James Blaede has announced earlier, June 13, 2016, the immediate availability for download of the first Beta build of the upcoming elementary OS 0.4 “Loki” operating system.

The moment you’ve all been waiting for it here, and you can download the elementary OS 0.4 “Loki” Beta release if you want to get an early taste of what’s coming to one of the most anticipated Linux kernel-based operating systems of 2016 for desktop PCs.

As mentioned in our previous elementary OS 0.4 “Loki” coverage, the upcoming GNU/Linux distribution will be based on Canonical’s Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) operating system. This means it inherits most of its core components and technologies, including the Linux 4.4 LTS kernel, GTK+ 3.18, and Vala 0.32.
