Debian-Based Elive 2.7.8 Beta Linux OS Released with Extra Packages, Bug Fixes

On October 14, 2016, the developers of the Debian-based Elive Linux distribution built on top of the Enlightenment desktop environment announced the release of a new Beta version.

Elive 2.7.8 Beta is now here and arrives five weeks after the previous one, version 2.7.6, which it replaces. There are multiple changes in the new Beta release, but it remains a bugfix build that attempts to address as many errors and annoyances as possible discovered or reported by users in previously released versions.

For example, you should now be able to use the latest version of the popular, open-source Blender 3D modeling software, the graphical environment will no longer restart randomly, the font sizes have been improved and won’t show big on certain systems. Also, Elive now ships with some extra packages.
