Chakra GNU/Linux Users Urged to Tweak Their Systems for Pepper Flash and CUPS

Neofytos Kolokotronis of the Chakra GNU/Linux team reported the other day that users of the Linux-based operating system need to tweak their installations after installing the cups 2.1.4-3 and pepperflashplugin 23.0.0.207-1 packages.

These two updates have landed in the software repositories before any other major updates because they require manual intervention from the user. First off, it looks like Chakra GNU/Linux users will have to add their Chakra user to a new lpadmin group to make CUPS work properly after installation, with the “sudo gpasswd -a USERNAME lpadmin” command, where USERNAME is your Chakra username.
