openSUSE Tumbleweed Users Get KDE Plasma 5.6.3, Firefox 46 & Linux Kernel 4.5.3

openSUSE Project’s Douglas DeMaio today, May 11, 2016, informed the openSUSE Tumbleweed community about the latest GNU/Linux technologies that landed in the rolling release operating system.

It appears that two major snapshots have been released already during the first week of May, bringing various relatively new GNU/Linux technologies, such as the latest GNOME 3.20.1 desktop environment, Linux kernel 4.5.3 (the latest version is now Linux 4.5.4, released on May 11, 2016), as well as the Mozilla Firefox 46.0 web browser.

Those who use the KDE Plasma 5.6 desktop environment on top of their openSUSE Tumbleweed installations should know that the 5.6.3 update arrived… (read more)
