Today, September 28, 2016, Linux Mint project leader Clement Lefebvre proudly announced that the Linux Mint-powered Mintbox Mini tiny computer just got a lot better.

The fact of the matter is that he unveiled a brand new model, which is called “Mintbox Mini Pro” and comes as a worthy upgrade to the original Mintbox Mini computer, offering significantly much better specifications, such as better passive cooling. Best of all, it looks like production already started and you can pre-order yours right now.

“This new unit also features better passive cooling thanks to an all-metal black housing. It has an extra USB port (for a total of 2 USB 3.0 and 4 USB 2.0 ports) and we also spotted powered eSATA and a microSIM slot,” says Clement Lefebvre. “Production started and Compulab started to take orders.”
