While there’s no official announcement at the moment of reporting this, it would appear that the Linux Mint 18.1 “Serena” operating system has been approved for landing, and the Cinnamon and MATE Live ISO images are available for download.
We had just reported the other day, Linux Mint project leader Clement Lefebvre revealed the fact that the highly anticipated Linux Mint 18.1 release could arrive as soon as this coming weekend, but not before the upgrade path from Linux Mint 18 “Sarah” is fully functional for all users.
