Latest Steam Client Update Improves Steam Controller Support with DOOM 2016

Today, June 10, 2016, Valve pushed a new major Steam Client update to the stable channels for all supported platforms, including GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows.

There are numerous improvements implemented in the June 10 Steam Client Update, starting with better compatibility for Valve’s Steam Controller and Steam Link devices with the recently released DOOM 2016 first-person shooter game, and continuing performance improvements for Vulkan apps with AMD hardware.

Among the general improvements that have been implemented in the Steam Client, we can mention a short idle-timer making sure Steam Client updates will no longer disrupt your typing, the issue with missing Workshop content when uninstalling and reinstalling a game were fixed, and better resizing of windows.
