gThumb 3.4.4 Open Source Image Viewer Finds Duplicates Faster, Adds New Features

Paolo Bacchilega announced the other day, October 10, 2016, the release and immediate availability for download of the fourth maintenance update to the stable gThumb 3.4 series.

gThumb is an open-source image viewer and browser application designed for the GNOME desktop environment, and gThumb 3.4.4 is now the most advanced version, introducing a bunch of interesting and useful new features, such as faster finding of duplicate images, as well as the ability to open the folder after creating a new one.

Moreover, gThumb 3.4.4 is here to fix the catalog cardinality for the image organizer component, automatically hide the image frame when entering full-screen mode, correct display of the headerbar buttons after activating a tool, and an improved Print dialog that now expands the options side to make the zoom slider visible.
