Arch Linux and SparkyLinux Are Among the First Distros to Offer Linux Kernel 4.6

Linux kernel 4.6 was officially announced, as expected, on May 15, 2016, by Linus Torvalds, and we were just wondering which GNU/Linux distributions will be the first to adopt it.

Well, after less than 24 hours, we’re happy to inform our readers that the first operating systems to offer users initial support for Linux kernel 4.6 are Arch Linux and SparkyLinux. Of course, Gentoo users can also install the Linux 4.6 kernel, but that’s a different story.
