Waha Linux 8.4 Brings the Latest Debian GNU/Linux 8.4 OS to the Arab Community

The development team behind the Waha Linux distribution have announced earlier, May 7, 2016, the general availability of the Waha Linux 8.4 release, dubbed Hijra.

Waha Linux 8.4 “Hijra” is here after approximately eight months since the previous point release of the Debian-based distribution, Waha Linux 8.2, which was announced back in September 2015 based on the software repositories of the Debian GNU/Linux 8.2 (Jessie) operating system.

It appears that there was no Waha Linux 8.3 maintenance build released since then, so users of Waha Linux 8.2 need to upgrade directly to today’s Waha Linux 8.4 release, which appears to bring all the goodies and latest Linux technologies from the Debian GNU/Linux 8.4 “Jessie” operating system.
