Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) Now Has a Default Wallpaper, Available in Two Flavors

The development of the Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) operating system continues at a fast pace, and we can see more and more software updates arriving every single day in its official software repositories.

Now, you might have noticed the other day on the OMG! Ubuntu website that there’s a new default wallpaper incoming to Ubuntu 16.10, as they had the privilege to reveal it first and let you download the image at full resolution if you want to use it on your current Ubuntu Linux installation or any other OS for that matter.

We’re always monitoring the development of the next major release of Ubuntu, and starting today, September 10, 2016, the default wallpaper of Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) has been changed as a new ubuntu-wallpapers package, version 16.10.0, arrived in the stable update channels of the upcoming GNU/Linux distribution.
