Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3 Released with New Container Signing Capability

Softpedia was informed today, November 3, 2016, by John Terrill from Red Hat about the general availability of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3 operating system for existing and new customers.

Until today, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3 has been in the Beta stages of development, but customers can now finally upgrade their installations from Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 or previous versions and enjoy the new features Red Hat’s engineers have prepared for the latest release of the enterprise-oriented operating system.

Prominent new features of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3 include the implementation of lightweight tunnels for improving the networking for bandwidth-intensive apps, such as video conferencing, by streamlining data transmission and receiving, along with a Technology Preview (TP) of a new container signing capability.
