GNU/Linux developer Arne Exton informs Softpedia about the immediate availability for download of his ExTiX 16.2 Build 160508 operating system based on the latest Debian and Ubuntu releases.
ExTiX is dubbed by Arne Exton as the “Ultimate Linux System,” and version 16.2 brings users many of the goodies from the recently released Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus), Debian GNU/Linux 8.4 (Jessie), and Debian GNU/Linux 9.0 (Stretch) operating systems, the latter still being in heavy development.
“I have made a new version of ExTiX – The Ultimate Linux System. I call it ExTiX 16.2 KDE Live DVD,” said Arne Exton in the announcement. “ExTiX 16.2 KDE DVD 64 bit is based on Debian 8.4 Jessie/Debian 9 Stretch and Ubuntu 16.04.
