darktable 2.0.7 Open-Source Image Editor Supports New Canon EOS 80D RAW Formats

The powerful, open-source, and cross-platform darktable RAW image editor has just been updated today, October 25, 2016, to version 2.0.7, a major release that adds numerous new features and improvements.

We’ll start with the good news, as darktable 2.0.7 adds support for the new Canon EOS 80D RAW image formats, including M-RAW and S-RAW. Moreover, SSE vectorization has been added for X-Trans to the Temperature and Invert modules, along with keyboard shortcuts for presets to the Temperature module, and there are various improvements to exporting of EXIF tags in images, keeping them below the ~64Kb limit.
