Hello everyone, how are you all doing today? I hope you are all having a great week so far. My week has been pretty good so far. I am getting ready to go buy some stuff downtown including a present for my cousin who is getting married next week. Only issue is it seems I might have a cold/flu coming on to me, I have been sneezing, the past couple of hours, hopefully it’s just a false alarm, I f’n hate getting sick, even if its like for 1 day, seriously! Lol anyway, please read on…

Today we will feature one of the most popular Linux themes of all-time called Adapta which works perfectly on most modern Linux Distros including Linux Mint, Ubuntu Mate, Ubuntu 16.04, 16.10, 15.04 and of course 14.04 etc. I just installed it a few minutes ago and depending on the icon package you use, this theme can be a masterpiece, trust me.

What Is Adapta Theme?

Adapta features two themes Adapta and Adapta-Nokto. Adapta has a Light or Dark theme for Gtk version 3.20/3.18 and Budgie-Desktop. If you are using Gnome or Cinnamon there is a Light variant theme.

Adapta-Nokto theme also, uses the same Light or Dark theme for Gtk and Budgie-Desktop. The different is that for Gnome or Cinnamon use a Dark variant theme.

Make sure you use Unity Tweak Tool to change your theme.

This theme seems to update every other day. Is there something broke? Running under Linux Mint 18.

  I think too many littlebut somewhat important bugs because of compatibility issues but it will probably stabilize in couple weeks/month.

freakin christ! Can someone clue the author of this theme in to the concept of versioning? This freakin theme udpates daily! Sometime twice a day. This has continued for weeks on end. Good GRIEF. At least hold them for a damn week, dude! Maybe do some testing before you release??

I can’t see the theme in the UnityTT. I’ve extracted it to home/.themes, as it says everywhere, but still can’t see it. I’m running ubuntu 16.04.
