Corebird 1.3.3 Native Twitter Client for Linux Supports the New, Longer Tweets

On October 3, 2016, Corebird developer Timm Bäder released a new maintenance update for the native Linux Twitter client, the third one in the 1.3 stable series of the open-source software.

It’s been a month and a half since the release of the major Corebird 1.3 update, and Timm Bäder managed to push three maintenance updates since then. The first one, Corebird 1.3.1, was announced on September 6, 2016, bringing a total of seven bug fixes, and the second one, Corebird 1.3.2, on September 25.

Corebird 1.3.3 is here as the latest and most advanced version of the Twitter client for GNU/Linux operating system, adding better support for the new, longer tweet format implemented by Twitter, which, in fact, was added in the Corebird 1.3.2 release last week for the first time.
