Today, December 19, 2017, Martijn Kaijser of the Kodi development team had the great pleasure of announcing the release of the seventh and last Beta build of the upcoming Kodi 17 “Krypton” media center.
The road to the open-source and cross-platform Kodi 17 “Krypton” media center appears to be very long, and we might be able to get our hands on the final release sometime in spring 2017 if we’re lucky. Until then, the Kodi 17 Beta 7 release is here to address even more of the bugs reported by users since the Beta 6 milestone, as well as to update the Estouchy and Estuary skins and adds various improvements.
