openSUSE Tumbleweed Gets XOrg Server 1.19 & Irssi 1.0, PulseAudio 10 Coming Soon

openSUSE Project’s Douglas DeMaio is informing the Tumbleweed community today, January 18, 2017, about the latest software updates and other improvements delivered by a total of two snapshots released last week.

The new updates are addressed more towards to developers and include Python 2.7.13, python-unidecode 0.04.20, GnuTLS 3.5.8, libproxy 0.4.14, Ruby 2.2.6, GTK+ 3.22.6, Harfbuzz 1.4.1, and OpenVPN 2.3.13.

Also included are the new X.Org Server 1.19 display server, LXDE-Common 0.99.2 for those who prefer the lightweight LXDE desktop environment, the Epiphany 3.22.4 web browser, and FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) 1.3.2.

We know, it’s not much, but hey, at least it’s something considering the fact that the openSUSE Tumbleweed developers have just returned from the well-deserved Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
