Hello everyone, you can download Victory Icon theme for Ubuntu and Linux, but before you do that, I hope you are all having a great week. My week is going pretty good, I just bought a new phone for the first time in about 2-3 years, I had been buying the same exact phone for the past year or so whenever it was necessary like when I lost it at a bar, lol don’t ask, long story. But finally, yesterday I bought a new Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 phone, it’s pretty good an so far I love it. Only issue so far I see with it is the battery life isn’t that good despite having a big battery it seems to drain way too fast, I heard that they did fix this issue for the most part with the latest update to the core which I did update my phone yesterday but I haven’t seen any difference, not yet at least. Anyway, please read on…

Today we will  showcase a pretty awesome Linux Icon theme cutely called the Victory Icon Theme. It looks neat and I love it’s modern flat-like icons that give you a nice even and color popping texture to them. You will see what I mean yourself when you check out the the screenshots right below. Let’s get into it.

What Is Victory Icon Theme

Victory Icon Theme: An Icon Theme for Linux. Created primarily for XFCE, but should work okay on Gnome, LXQT/LXDE, Budgie, Mint, etc.

“Bombastic name aside, there’s nothing particularly imposing about the Victory icon set. It doesn’t dominant the desktop in the way that something that some modern themes, like the bright and bashful Kylin icon set, do.

It’s a soft, colorful and almost tactile theme. It is cotton to the polyester playfulness of the Papirus icon theme. The light hues, and pastel color palette are all gentle on the eye.” – OMGUbuntu.co.uk
